I have an answer for this - when the online community you truly enjoy is sold out from under you, and closed with little notice. When the friends you made are all split apart across different social networks. When you see friends that fell in love through a social network have that taken from them. When you promise to stay in touch, but it just doesn’t happen. (there are luckily a few that do - and to those ex-Powncers —- you rock).
